When you set up your shop, you need to assign each person an access code and a profile when connecting to your shop's back office. Users sign in by entering the email address and the password assigned to them.
Why have a separate account for each person?
Here are some examples:
- If you want to get your product pages translated into Russian, for example, you can create an account for your translator that will give him/her access to the Catalog menu only. She will not be able to consult other menus such as Customers or Orders.
- If you want to grant your bookkeeper access to your shop's back office so he/she can access invoices and credit slips, you can give him/her access to just the Orders menu, which includes invoices, credit slips, etc.
- If you want your Marketing intern to be able to edit the photos in your slideshow on your site's homepage, but nothing else, you can use the profile you have created to grant access to just the module that manages the slideshow.
